What an amazing end to the year!
The weather may be cold and wet but this didn’t prevent us from celebrating all that is Christmas on the last break of the year!
We started our break in our Yurt, log fire burning, Christmas tunes playing, let the merriment begin!
We made Yule logs and tree decorations, once settled and unpacked, sitting down to our Christmas dinner with all the trimmings!
We then magically transported ourselves to everything snow, and created individual snow globes and chimes, before baking delicious Christmas trees, sausage rolls & mince pies, ready for our Christmas party. Some agreeing to taste test the fillings before baking!
We visited, Aglow, it may have been a little on the colder side, but we soon warmed, enjoying a lovely meal at the restaurant, a little retail therapy and then the main event, an amazing light display in the gardens before returning for a well-earned hot chocolate & marshmallows to warm us through, before our Christmas party.
We danced, sung the night away and of course, enjoying some of our delicious baked treats!
Our new minibus has arrived, braving the weather to get a few pictures, had to be done!
We were joined by a few special guests, thank you to Roy & Siham, and welcomed our old friends at the forest school, who taught us how to make wreaths, we tucked into a delicious vegetable curry & baked cinnamon apples with cream, all cooked on the fire, before relaxing into the evening singing carols with Jo, a few solos too, just beautiful.
We ended our week in Tonbridge, enjoying a walk by the river and seeing the castle on our way to brunch, before returning home with amazing memories and heavier cases!
