September has arrived, and we kicked off the month with an exciting week dedicated to arts and crafts! Our guests embraced their creativity, crafting beautiful collages and painting delightful key rings to take home as mementos.
One of the highlights of the week was our visit to Eastbourne’s renowned Towner Gallery. Everyone enjoyed exploring the fascinating exhibition on climate change, which sparked interesting conversations and reflections on this important topic.
After our gallery visit, we treated ourselves to some classic fish and chips, followed by a leisurely trip to the shops for souvenir hunting. A stroll along the pier capped off the day perfectly, allowing everyone to soak in the beautiful coastal views.
On Thursday, we were thrilled to welcome King of the Woods back to Nutley Edge for a leaf printing session. Guests created some stunning pieces of art, showcasing their unique styles and creativity. To round off the day, we enjoyed a lively sing-along session with our talented folk singer, Jo, which brought smiles and laughter to everyone involved.
Additionally, we celebrated yet another birthday during the week, dancing the night away at our mid-week party. The fun continued with a game of the ever-popular bowling, making it a memorable conclusion to a fantastic week.
