Where you’ll stay

During your supported holiday at Nutley Edge, you’ll either be staying in the Old Farmhouse or one of our cottages across the central courtyard. One of the wonderful things about Nutley Edge Activity Breaks is that, unlike many supported holiday providers, every guest can enjoy their own private room at no additional cost. Each room also comes with a flat screen TV and WI-FI for when you want to relax or get in touch with loved ones back at home. We also have wheelchair accessible options so that anyone can enjoy a stay with us. Take a look at some of the options below.

The Old Farmhouse

Our Old Farmhouse dates back to the 17th century and is a beautiful mix of the traditional and contemporary. The property has four bedrooms for Activity Break guests, two of which are en-suite. The farmhouse is also where we host our communal activities and meals, so it is right at the heart of the action! The living room is a great place to relax between activities, as it comes with games and a smart TV.

Cottages

We have several different cottages at Nutley Edge. They are all situated around the Old Farmhouse Courtyard, so you’ll always be close to the action. Each cottage has a fully-equipped kitchen and private outdoor areas, which are great for when you need a chance to relax in a peaceful setting.

Accessibility

Two of our cottages are fully accessible, having been specifically designed for wheelchair access. Each cottage has an accessible single bedroom and wet room on the ground floor, and the comfortable lounge/diner is spacious enough for wheelchair use.

The grounds

One of our favourite features of Nutley Edge is its breathtaking grounds. Nutley boasts over 11 acres of beautiful farmland and rare ancient Gill woodland. We even have our own stream, which is perfect for a game of pooh sticks. Because of our hillside location, you’ll also get to enjoy panoramic views of the Ashdown Forest, famous for being the home of Winnie-the-Pooh! We’ve equipped our site with benches and sports equipment, so that our guests can make the most of being out in nature during their stay.
